Labor Economics
ZHAO Liqiu, a professor at the School of Labor and Human Resources at Renmin University of China, serves as the director of the Labor Economics Department and a researcher at the National Academy of Development and Strategy. Her research interests include labor economics, development economics, and applied micro-econometrics. She has published papers in both Chinese and English in mainstream international and domestic economics journals such as Journal of Health Economics , Economic Development and Cultural Change , Journal of Comparative Economics , Journal of Population Economics , Regional Science and Urban Economics , Social Science and Medicine , Health Economics , Labour Economics , World Economy (Chinese), and Economics Quarterly (Chinese). She currently serves as the associate editor of the SSCI journal China & World Economy . She also leads national natural science foundation projects, youth projects, and humanities and social sciences projects funded by the Ministry of Education.
