SLHR – A PLATFORM FOR LIFELONG LEARNING
The School of Labor and Human Resources is dedicated to creating a lifelong learning platform for working professionals. Working individuals who have graduated from college at least two years ago or have obtained a master's degree are eligible to participate in an 18-month on-the-job training program.
The training program includes two tracks: Human Resource Management and Social Security. The former includes foundational courses such as Principles of Management, Corporate Strategic Management, Marketing, Financial Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Human Resource Management, Employee Relations Management, and Methods of Data Analysis in Management.
The latter includes foundational courses such as Social Security Studies, Health Insurance, Social Security Policy, Pension Insurance, Poverty and Social Assistance Studies, Social Security Management, Nonprofit Organizations and Charity, Occupational Safety and Workers' Compensation Insurance, and Social Research Methods.
Participants who complete the prescribed courses and pass evaluations will be awarded a Certificate of Completion in Education and Training from Renmin University of China. Upon meeting the requirements for coursework and thesis, they may also obtain a master's degree equivalent in the related field.
In 2017, the school launched China's first Strategic Human Officer (SHO) program, aimed at senior executives of leading well-known companies. The program is designed to upgrade thinking patterns through a systematic knowledge system, comprehensively enhance management capabilities, stimulate organizational vitality, and drive corporate transformation and change.
The program lasts one year and includes modules such as Macro Insights and Trend Foresight, Personal Growth and Career Breakthrough, Talent Motivation and Cadre Management, Value Management and Organizational Change, Strategic Planning and Excellent Leadership, and Practical Learning and Integration of Knowledge and Action. Participants who complete all the courses as prescribed and pass the assessment will be awarded a 'Strategic Human Resource Officer SHO' certificate of completion by Renmin University of China.
Furthermore, the school can also meet customized needs, tailoring professional educational courses in the labor field for the public sector and enterprises, providing professional support to enhance the service level of the public sector and optimize enterprise human resource management.
