Human Resource Management, Career Development and Management

Dr. Zhen Wang is a professor in the Department of Human Resource Management and the Department of Career Development and Management, and serves as the director of the Center for Human Resource and Leadership Development at the School of Labor and Human Resources, Renmin University of China. He is the vice president and secretary general of the Association of Career Development and Management in China. He received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Economics from Peking University and his Doctorate in Applied Psychology from the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Wang’s research focuses on team effectiveness, leadership, career development and management, human resource analytics, and occupational health. He has published more than 70 papers in mainstream management and psychology journals, such as  Personnel Psychology ,  Leadership Quarterly ,  Journal of Vocational Behavior ,  Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology ,  Journal of Occupational Health Psychology ,  Journal of Cross-cultural Psychology ,  Journal of Business Ethics ,  Asia Pacific Journal of Management ,  Acta Psychologica Sinica , and  Journal of Management World . His research has received support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Fund of China, and the Ministry of Education of China. Dr. Wang has provided consultation services for China Mobile, China Minmetals, China Energy Investment Group, China National Chemical Corporation, LinkedIn, and so on.
