Labor Economics
From 2014 to 2022, Dr. Han served as the Director of the Department of Labor Economics at the School of Labor and Human Resources, Renmin University of China. His main research areas are labor economics, international economics, development economics, and the Chinese economy. He has published a series of high-quality research papers in leading international and domestic journals, including the Journal of International Economics, Cities, Journal of Population Economics, China Economic Review, Industrial & Labor Relations Review, Journal of Human Capital, and Economics of Transition. He has also been the lead author in the top domestic journal "Chinese Social Sciences," generating strong international and domestic influence in his fields of study. His articles, both in Chinese and English, have been extensively cited by top-tier journals worldwide. In addition, he has led numerous national and provincial-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China's General and Youth Projects, as well as humanities and social sciences projects sponsored by the Ministry of Education. He is also the principal investigator for a key sub-project under the National Natural Science Foundation.
