SLHR Labor Relations Lecture Series: "Data Elements and Innovation Ecosystem"

Lecture Overview: In this lecture, Professor Rong Ke from the Institute of Economics at the School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, will focus on the study of data elements, discussing the following topics: (1) Historical evolution of data elements, (2) International competition and cooperation in data elements, (3) Construction of data element markets, (4) Capital contributions of data elements, (5) China's choices regarding data elements.

Guest Speaker Bio:

Professor Rong Ke is a tenured professor and doctoral advisor at Tsinghua University, with a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. He serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Social Sciences, Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics, and is a highly cited scholar in China according to Elsevier. He is the founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Digital Economy and was selected for the National Youth Talent Program in 2020. He also serves on the editorial boards of internationally renowned journals such as JIBS, JIBP, LRP, and MOR, and is a researcher at Tsinghua University's National High-end Think Tank and Deputy Director of Tsinghua University's Global Industry Research Institute. His research interests include business/innovation ecosystems, digital economy, and data ecosystems. He has published over 70 papers in journals such as UTD24, Chinese Social Sciences, and Management World, and authored books and textbooks including Digital Economics, On Data Elements, Sustainable Win-Win: Methodology for Building Business Ecosystems, and Business Ecosystems.
