题目:How to better incorporate personality theories in management research

论坛摘要:Personality provides a lens for understanding human behavior, but the applications of personality theories in OB/HRM research have largely been based on a static and somewhat limited view of personality. In this talk, I will discuss how personality constructs may be reconceptualized to account for the dynamic interaction between the person and the environment. I will report several of our empirical investigations to highlight the possibility of a broadened view of personality. Finally, I will outline a few areas in OB/HRM research where a closer examination of dynamic personality constructs can prove fruitful.
