Lecturer: Prof. Meng Xin Prof. Meng Xin received a doctorate in economics at Australian National University. She is now teaching at the Institute of Social Sciences of Australian National University. Professor Meng Xin is a fellow of Australian Academy of Social Science, member of American Economic Association and Germany Labor Research Institute, as well as editorial board member of the Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of China Labor Economics and other academic journals. Her research interests mainly include: China's labor market in transitional economy, welfare changes of Chinese families during the economic restructure, aging and pension reform, immigration and so on. Her papers have been published in the Journal of Labor Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics, Labor Economics, Economic Development and Cultural Change, and many other international academic journals. 3.
