Labor Economics
Dr. WENG Qian is an Associate Professor in the Department of Labor Economics at the School of Labor and Human Resources. She earned her PhD from the University of Gothenburg in 2014. Her research primarily focuses on Behavioral and Experimental Economics and Labor Economics, with a special interest in the effects of pecuniary and non-pecuniary incentives on job search and work performance. Dr. Weng has published in leading international journals such as the Economic Journal, the Journal of Labor Economics, and the Journal of Public Economics in recent years. She has also served as principal investigator for several projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Fund of the Ministry of Education, and the Scientific Research Fund of Renmin University of China.
